These videolandscapes are constructed out of a large archive of material shot during travels through Holland, Ireland and the United States. The works are compositions of several videolayers. By using 3D effects they form new, fictitious scenes that are projections of inner, emotional landscapes. Though meditative at first glance, the viewer is put out of balance by the surreal nature of these scenes. In exhibition these pieces are projected in a spatial setting, or shown on large plasmascreens.
