This Emmy winning documentary DVD is titled "Born to the Wind" and is the second film to chronicle the "Around the World Alone" sailing race 1998-1999. Directed by master filmmaker Laszlo Pal, each ship is equipped with several innovative fixed cameras to capture each harrowing Journey. 27,000 miles and nearly a year of sailing completely alone through some of the roughest seas imaginable is what this race entails. Sailors are lost, boats capsized and dismasted – one sailor even has to perform emergency surgery on himself! The DVD is available for the first time through the link provided below.
