What is the story on this.. How were they stranded? Horrible to see this but why do you blame the bureau of Rec? Is this a fish propogation pond? What were the fish doing there? Did Rec put them there? Did they come in during a high water event and get stranded? Dude no story unless you tell us that.

On Dec. 1-3, 2007, volunteers saved over 1,800 adult striped bass stranded on Prospect Island in the California Delta, where they'd been left to die by the Bureau of Reclamation.
