Prof. Cynthia Ning, Associate Director of The Confucius Institute at the University of Hawaii offers something very unique to our American High School Kids: a sports camp that is taught (mostly) in Chinese! She invited 30 high school kids from across the US (incl. Hawaii) to study the Chinese language by exposing the kids to various teaching methods and two national Chinese SPORTS: Ping-Pong and Martial Arts! This video shows elements of the PING-PONG class. And now we know: PING-PONG is indeed not only a sport for people like Forrest Gump!
