Writer-director Shonali Bose’s award-winning Indian film Amu begins its U.S. theatrical release on May 25, 2007 at New York City ’s Cinema Village ( 22 E. 12th Street ) and ImaginAsian ( 239 E. 59th Street ). The film goes on to open in Los Angeles on June 15 at the Laemmle Music Hall ( 9036 Wilshire Blvd. ) and the Fallbrook ( 6731 Fallbrook Ave. ), with additional cities to be announced.
