Newport Beach Films Festival Opening Night Continued

Newport Beach Film Festival kicks off with Chad Lowe’s Beautiful Ohio attracting an assortment of celebrities. Hundreds stood in line in good spirit outside the Edwards theater in Fashion Island dressed in Versace, Ralph Lauren and Armani giggling like teenage kids star struck at the procession of limousines that rolled up to the red carpet. As the door finally opened up film goers marveled at the bottle neck of photographers and media personalities that border the theaters’ entry way. When super sports agent and founding sponsor Leigh Steinberg took to the podium it was official the 2007 Newport Beach Festival had begun. Opening night marked Day #1 the of the 10 day Film Festival that was expected to drawn in 40,000 people.
